How do I find out more about being a Volunteer?  

 A. Check out the "About Us" page on the website and fill out the "Form" on the Membership Info page.

    C. Attend our orientation information meeting for new volunteers @Camp Knutson on June 4, 2013. Meeting is @12 noon - 1:15, and we'll have a meeting/lunch for new volunteers prior to our annual spring meeting, which will begin @1:30 and include all volunteers.

What do Camp Knutson Volunteers do?
     A. Fundraising:  work on Night Under the Stars (NUTS) or the Taste Luncheon

     B. Grant Writing: Be part of the team
     C. Assist and support Camp K Staff with programs and special events.  A few examples are serving at theme parties; help campers with beading, making cards, crafts, biking, fishing, reading, or even help clean the camp between camp sessions.
 
Is there a specific time requirement for my participation in this organization?
        A. We are all volunteers, and respect the time that you need to spend with guests and famillies in the summer.  However, if you select an activity to support, the Volunteer organization will depend on you to be there. This is your opportunity to serve and also enjoy meeting other volunteers as well as campers and counselors.

What are the membership dues?  
   Dues for the organization are $10 per year. These dues entitle you to vote and are due at the first Volunteer Meeting in June, 2013.
    
Do I need to fill out a Background Consent Form if I'm working with children at the Camp?
     Yes, according to state law all volunteers that work with children are required to fill out the form.  You may download the forms below and have them filled out and available for Kate/Rob at the Spring Meeting.
